Surrender to these songs of love and laughter and satisfy your musical appetite with a delicious blend of sweet honey for the heart, spicy cilantro for the soul, and tangy citrus for the mind. This first release by singer-songwriter, Bernadette Golden is as necessary as chocolate. Let the music melt in your mind as her sultry and sensuous voice takes you to all the places relationships can go – and a few they shouldn’t.

Rick Koster of The New London Day writes: “Golden is a terrific songwriter and singer. ‘Unless’ brings out the best of her skills and affections, and will remind you of such diverse talents as Phoebe Snow, k.d. lang, Melissa Etheridge, and Joni Mitchell. Songs like Willingly, ‘The World Can Fix Itself, and Diagnosis: Love’, are genuinely great compositions, and the musical contributions of band members Larry Kern (mandolin/guitar), Michael Ozenich (bass), and Glenn Ashton (drums), are at once intuitive and wonderfully supportive.” The band’s ability to play with different musical genres bring you on a trip from that nameless motel out on route 30 to a hot night in Tierra del Fuego.

The other band members are Larry Kern on mandolin and guitars, Michael Ozenich on bass, and Glenn Ashton on drums & percussion. The CD was recorded at Ascension Recording in Brooklyn, CT, and Engineered by Grammy Award winner Michael Hopkins, a Moosup, CT native, who has recently returned to Connecticut after working in Nashville for twenty years.
